(got to do a first post somewhere...)
The (recently disbanded) digital accessibility team at the RNIB designed some fonts for readability, and these work really well as subtitle fonts. (They just drop into media/Fonts in the source tree.) They're licensed under the GPL. Could someone add these to XBMC for use as subtitle fonts? http://www.tiresias.org/fonts/fonts_download.htm thanks and keep up the good work, Jon

I think you'll find the subtitle one in particular, which is the only one that is much use to us, is not cheap. I've emailed the distributor anyway.
